Violations of the Ignition Interlock Program

Failure to keep scheduled appointments (every sixty days):
If you do not contact us with scheduling changes prior to your appointment time and miss your appointment, a non-compliance report will be sent to your Judge and probation officer and you will be fined.
Failure to make monthly payments on time:
You have been ordered by your Judge to participate in and pay for your IID program. Your payment is due in our office on the anniversary date of your installation, EVERY MONTH. Even one day past the due date will result in a late charge of $25.00. We do not send invoices / bills, except when past due. We will discontinue service in the event of non-payment of program fees, send a non-compliance report to your Judge and probation officer, and your vehicle will lock-out.
Allowing IID to Lock-Out due to an unreported early recall:
When you see your service light on steady and your lock-out light flashing, you are in early recall mode and must call us on the next business day to schedule an appointment for service. If you fail to report the early recall, your vehicle will lock-out five days from the time the lights appeared.
Allowing anyone other than the driver of the vehicle to give required breath tests:
Only the person driving the vehicle at the time of the test may give the required test.
The penalty for non-compliance is up to 6 months in jail and up to $5,000 in fines for both parties. Having children in the vehicle will add the charge of child endangerment.
Driving any vehicle not equipped with an IID:
The penalty for driving a vehicle not equipped with an IID while under sentence is ONE YEAR IN JAIL.
